"Train yourself for a holy life! While physical training has some value, training in holy living is useful for everything. It has promise for this life now and the life to come." - 1 Timothy 4:7b-8

Discipling Ministries

From childhood until old age, the disciple of Jesus is always growing into the likeness of Christ. The word “disciple” means “learner,” and we are all life-long learners!

As we feel in our hearts what God has done for us, it creates in us a yearning to learn more. We long to understand, and we seek the gifts to serve.

Below are just some of the ways we are learning to be like Jesus:

Sunday School

Our Sunday School meets during worship every Sunday from September to June.  Ages 3 through grade 12 are welcome to participate.

Confirmation Class

Our confirmation class prepares teenagers to accept responsibility for their own discipleship.

7th and 8th graders begin their journey with bi-weekly classes that provide an overview of the Bible one year and explore the Christian faith through the Alpha Course for youth and an introduction of other world religions in the other.

Confirmands who feel ready to commit to the Christian journey are confirmed in the autumn of their 9th grade school year.

Confirmands are also expected to participate in worship, youth group (“The Crew”), and trips to houses of worship of various faiths.

Vacation Bible School

Thank you so much for your participation. We’re looking forward to seeing you next year 2022!

Adult Study Groups

Because disciples of every age need to continue in their spiritual growth, we encourage every adult to engage in spiritual study.  We can learn so much from each other!  Throughout the year, there are short-term studies, training opportunities, and stand-alone events. In addition, men are welcome to participate in Bible Study on Thursday evenings at 7pm, and our women’s study meets at the group’s convenience.
